Terms of Service

SkillUp is an education and jobs marketplace. We are not the employer on board vacancies unless we say so in writing. We do not guarantee a job, extra interviews beyond what a named programme states, a salary, or a visa. Salary figures are indicative only. SkillUp and interviewing partners are not committed to those figures. Match scores and AI feedback are tools, not career or immigration advice. For accepted AWS re/Start students, employability support means at least two interviews per accepted student — not a job offer.

You must be able to form a contract. Under 18s need a parent, guardian or institution, except that AWS re/Start is aimed at users 19+. Keep details accurate. You are responsible for your login. One person, one account. We may refuse, suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms, law or others' rights are at risk.

Without Plus you may upload a CV, browse the board, apply, set up to three target jobs and see a match score, subject to availability. Apply does not require Plus. We may change or withdraw free features.

Plus is a paid subscription priced by billing country at checkout. It may include gap modules, Job Ready, practice tools and related features. Job Ready sits inside Plus. "Shown to employers" depends on partners and on you finishing the stated modules. University seats last only for the allocation. Cancel in account settings; access runs to the end of the prepaid period unless mandatory consumer law requires a refund (including the UK 14-day cooling-off where you are a UK consumer and did not ask us to start immediately).

Twelve-week live tracks as listed. Seats may be self-pay, funded, or employer-sponsored; pricing and start dates are shown on each cohort page for your country. University, funded or employer seats need confirmation from the allocating party. Application is not a place. We may change dates or delivery mode. If we cancel a cohort we refund fees paid to us. Withdrawal after a stated cut-off may be non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.

We do not warrant that a listing is open or accurate. Employers and universities are independent. If you post roles or share student lists you must have the right to do so and must use candidate data only for the stated hiring or education purpose.

External courses (including Coursera) are a contract between you and that provider. We may earn an affiliate commission on our link. Certificates do not change your SkillUp match until uploaded to the vault. We may reject files we cannot read or reasonably believe are fake.

You own your CV and uploads. You grant SkillUp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, parse, display, adapt for matching, and share that content as needed to run the Platform, including employer visibility you use the Platform for, and anonymised insights as in the Privacy Policy. You warrant the content is yours and lawful.

The Platform, SkillUp name, software, matchers and our hosted modules are owned by SkillUp or licensors. AWS, Coursera and JobStreet marks belong to their owners. You get only a limited licence to use the Platform while your account is in good standing.

No scraping or reselling profiles except via an export we provide; no faking certificates or match scores; no impersonation; no misleading employers with undisclosed AI stand-ins; no harassment, unlawful roles, or attacks on the Platform.

You pay the price shown for your billing country. Future prices may change on notice before renewal. Failed payment may suspend Plus or a self-pay place.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing excludes liability that Singapore law or your mandatory consumer law does not allow us to exclude, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss of profit, data, goodwill, opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss, or for acts of employers, universities or third-party courses. Our total liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or SGD 100 if you paid nothing, except where a cap is prohibited.

You will indemnify SkillUp and our officers against claims arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with employers, universities or course providers, except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.

We may change these Terms when posted, or when we ask you to accept a material change. You may close your account. We may suspend or terminate for breach, law or security. Sections 1, 8–14 and 16–17 survive.

Laws of the Republic of Singapore. Exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, except we may seek injunctive relief elsewhere to protect IP, and consumers keep mandatory local courts (including the UK). Email legal@skillup.global and allow 30 days before filing a claim.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement. Unenforceable clauses are severed. You may not assign without our consent; we may assign to an affiliate or buyer. Notices to your account email; notices to us at the registered office or legal@skillup.global.
